The pope has sent another round of records to Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, who is curating the pontiff's massive music collection.

A recent trip to a Roman record store has clued the faithful in to Pope Francis’ life-long love of music. Soon after, it was revealed that the pontiff has a collection of some 2,000 CDs and a few dozen vinyl records. The collection has become so large that it has its own curator, Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi.

The collection is continuing to grow, as shown by a recent tweet from Cardinal Ravasi. The image shows eight new records that the pope sent his musical librarian, in a mix of CDs and vinyl. The works are mostly classical, with the majority of these leaning towards the sacred, but there is also an Italian female rocker from the 60s.
