Ask God to fill you with mercy and joy as you begin the day.

The morning often sets the tone for the rest of the day, so it is important to begin in God’s mercy. If we begin with God’s mercy, it will be more likely to end it in God’s mercy.

Here is a short Bible verse that asks God to fill us with his mercy in the morning.

Fill us at daybreak with your mercy,
    that all our days we may sing for joy.
